Price premium aside I like this watch. I think the “standard” 300 looks great, and this puts a cool twist on it. The best part is that, compared to the Skyfall Aqua Terra, this is FAR less on the nose with branding. As I recall that one had the Bond family crest all over the face, and as the seconds hand.
I don’t see a problem with people wanting to buy a 007 edition though. Omega do LOADS of special editions for everything, and what’s wrong with someone buying a James Bond edition 300 over one of the many special edition Speedmaster moonwatches? How much you CHARGE for that is a separate matter though, and is a bit trickier. I’ll bet they sell though which is all that matters to Omega replica.
If Omega replica makes one more stupid James Bond watch, I’m gonna call Obama for a drone strike!
I guess its funny I should say that, since I think the old Seamaster was one of the best shaped watches Omega ever came up with. Everything follows function and managed a subtle elegance.
Much of the new stuff, I find either too clunky or too simplistic (like this one).
But yeah, its a matter of taste for me and a matter of trend for Omega replica…
